Angel Food Ministries

Epworth UM Church began its first day as an Angel Food Ministries Host Site with a "trial run" on Saturday, Jan. 23rd and the delivery of 82 boxes. Volunteers made a round-trip to Milford for food pick-up, unloaded the trailer and assembled the ordered boxes -- all before the purchasers arrived at 8:30 am. Haiti Relief Contributions Site

Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach is receiving contributions for the rescue efforts and redevelopment in Haiti after last week's earthquake. UMCOR (United Methodist Committee On Relief) http://new.gbgm-umc.org/umcor/ has a long-standing relationship with Haiti through the Methodist Church of Haiti which facilitated the opening of the UMCOR Haiti field office in 2005. Epworth Organ Dedication Concert

We are pleased to announce Stefan Engels, world-renown organist, will present a dedicatory recital on our new Allen Organ on Friday evening, March 5th at 7:00 p.m. at Epworth United Methodist Church, Rehoboth Beach.

Are you aware that Epworth United Methodist Church owns a cemetery on Henlopen Avenue in Rehoboth Beach and grave sites are available for purchase?

The price is $750.00, permitting one casket and one cremation urn or four cremation urns, with a portion of this cost being placed in an endowment fund to pay for the perpetual care of the cemetery. Please contact Jay Stevenson, Cemetery Caretaker, at 302-448-1986 for additional information.

Women of Faith 2010

The 9:30 am Contemporary Praise! Worship Service now offers an American Sign Language interpreter each Sunday. Epworth is committed through their new deaf ministry to develop programs which will meet the needs of the deaf community's growing population in the beach corridor.

Social Justice Fact

Timbuktu is a real place. It is located in the impoverished country of Mali in northwestern Africa. The average worker earns $1,500 a year or less and lives to be 45 years of age.
