AUTOMATIC GIVING PLANS

You may now contribute to the general ministries of Epworth and to any of our designated funds including the Building Fund Capital Campaign through automatic giving plans.  These plans use electronic funds transfer or your VISA or MasterCard.  The program is safe, convenient, and customizable to your needs.  Changes can be made at any time.

Here are some of the reasons you might want to consider switching your contributions to the automatic plan.

1. You’ll save time, postage, and check costs.

2. You don't have to worry about forgetting.

3. Epworth saves postage, printing and administrative costs -- and that means the ministries you support are better served.

Many Epworth donors will enjoy the convenience of making their weekly, monthly or quarterly contributions automatically through their banks, rather than writing and sending checks.  It’s very easy to make the switch to Epworth Electronic Funds Transfer plan.  All you need to do is fill out a simple form (available from our website or through the Church office) and mail (or scan and email) it to us.  If you do this with your next regular contribution, the automatic plan can start with your next scheduled payment.

You can also make your regular contributions via credit card.  Some people use this tool as a convenient way of writing one rather than multiple checks monthly.  Another benefit may be the various rebate and incentive programs available with credit cards these days.  All you need to do is fill out a simple form (available from our website or through the Church office) and mail (or scan and email) it to us.  If you do this with your next regular contribution, the automatic plan can start with your next scheduled payment.

You can join the Electronic Funds Transfer plan at any time.  And, of course, you can stop or change your payment at any time by simply letting us know with a note, a quick phone call, a fax, an e-mail message, or by downloading, printing, and sending to us our Automatic Giving Plan Changes Form (available on the website or by request from the Church office).

A record of each contribution will appear on your bank statement, plus Epworth will send you quarterly and year-end receipts for income tax purposes.  You can choose to have your contribution made at any frequency and on any day of the month.  It’s easy.  It saves time and money.
